This card was given to my dad. "阿公" means grandfather.
Envelope for the cards. "恭喜" or Gong-Xi, which means "congratulations", is the typical and traditional response to a joyous occasion in someone's life (marriage, birth, etc.).
This card was given to my mom. "阿媽" means grandmother.
My two sisters got this card. "Goo-goo" is the transliteration for "aunt" in Taiwanese.

I didn't just stop with my Taiwanese family, but I also created announcements for my wife's family as well. I tapped into her Italian roots for this piece.
On January 13th, 2015 I got the unfortunate news that my grandmother in Taiwan had passed away from complications with her health. She lived to be 94 years of age. May she rest in peace.
